Transport Health has been able to consolidate its governance information within one centralised framework. This has provided better data security, enhanced reporting capability and auditability of information.
Transport Health provides health insurance to its members, transport workers. In 1888, a group of workers of the Melbourne Metropolitan Tramways Board set up the Transport Friendly Society to provide sickness benefit for people working on Melbourne’s Trams. 123 years later, the same company is still there, and now it is called Transport Health.
